Food Pairing
Our delicious white, Marlborough style, wine bursting with green citrus fruits and elder flower and apple blossom notes is the perfect accompaniment for fresh or smoked seafood. Oysters, crab, prawns, scallops and fresh salmon all pair beautifully with our flint dry Bacchus. Try spring vegetable dishes such as English asparagus and broad beans – a perfect match and the grassy, fresh, nettle like herbaceous notes are a hit with creamy Goats cheese

This wine is packed full of character, the appealing aroma goes way beyond the traditional elderflower and honeysuckle notes that are common to Bacchus. Added to these are tropical hues of fresh kiwi, lemon, lime, and melon, with orange blossom, and herbaceous tones. The vibrant acidity and intense, ripe flavours give this wine a really expressive profile, clean and lifted, with balance, and a subtle grip.
